Occupational stress is a major absence reason within the UK. Statistical data published by the HSE showed that of all work related ill health cases in 2014/15 stress accounted for 35%.
Industrial Diagnostics Company Ltd manage many cases of occupational stress and our Occupational Health team are experienced in providing the necessary advice and support in this area. We can advise and work within the relevant HSE guidance and/or with our clients own policies and procedures for the management of stress within the workplace.
Whilst we do support referrals for Occupational Stress we see the benefits of providing support on preventative measure, including management training to identify the causes of stress, advice for employees on the identification of stress and stress management coping techniques such as mindfulness/resilience training.
